Obituary written and submitted by Family:

Anekkia (Nekki) Rachell Richmond was born March 17, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee and departed her earthly life on September 28, 2020. Anekkia was the daughter of Louise Dancy and Wheatley Weatherspoon. Raised by her mother and father Tim Dancy, Anekkia accepted Christ at an early age in her hometown church in Memphis, Tennessee.

Anekkia attended the public schools of Memphis, Tennessee and later received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University. For the last thirteen years, she enjoyed her career working as a successful real estate agent.

Anekkia married her long-time best friend and love of her life since the age of 16, Mr Timothy (Tim) Richmond. Anekkia and Tim were blessed with three children, whom she loved endlessly: Timothy Richmond Jr, Shakola Soffel (Michael Soffel), and Charity Richmond. Three grandchildren that she adored: Marisa Soffel, Timothy Richmond the 3rd, and Kobe Soffel. She leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories with her brothers: Delisco (Angela) Dancy, Kim (Krystal) Dancy, and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Anekkia was such a joy to be around. There was never a dull moment when being in her presence. She loved being in the mist of family and friends, laughing, joking, dancing, and playing her favorite card game of Spades. She attended women empowerment and prayer groups, which she had the honor of being a part of. She made a strong impact on all that she met. Her personality and genuine love for others were definitely one of a kind. She loved God and it was in her actions that her life spoke for itself.
