Obituary for Jane Theresa Ardo (1925 - 2020)

It is with great sadness and eternal love that we announce the passing of Jane Theresa Ardo of Garden Grove, California on January 30, 2020. Jane was born on January 7, 1925 as the eighth of nine children to Peter and Laura Klimowicz in Wyandotte, Michigan. She is survived by her three children: Karen Santilena, Gary Ardo, Beverly Ardo, her granddaughter, Katharine Santilena and her younger sister, Margie Kwiatkowski.

Jane married the love of her life, Julius Alexander Ardo, on May 29, 1948 and became a devoted Navy military wife. Together, they moved from Michigan to California in 1959 where she was employed in the Aerospace Industry at Rockwell International as a Secretary for twenty years before retiring in 1986. Throughout their lives, Julius and Jane avidly traveled to Hawaii and Las Vegas whenever they could. Her hobby for several decades was being an enthusiastic collector of Lladro figurines and was a longtime Lladro Collectors’ Society member. Always dedicated to her faith, Jane was a steadfast Catholic and a member of Saint Columban Catholic Church.

Her final wishes were to be reunited with her husband, Julius, at Riverside National Cemetery, where on February 28, 2020, they will finally be together for all eternity under God’s loving grace.
