Obituary

Kim Marie Hollis Pyle passed away suddenly on September 8, 2020. Her loss was completely unexpected and her family and friends are shocked and deeply saddened. We know Heaven has gained an angel but our hearts are broken because we will not see her beautiful smile or hear her laugh on any given day.

Kim Hollis Pyle was born in Manchester CT and lived her young life in South Windsor, CT. She graduated from South Windsor High School in 1980. She moved to CA in 1985. She lived in Escondido CA and married Rodney Pyle in September 1991. They moved to Murrieta, CA in 2003.

She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for several different companies and was a very valued employee to all.

Kim was involved in PTA at her children’s school and was always a great support to their friends.

Kim was treasurer and snack bar manager and then president of Murrieta Valley Pony Baseball. Kim spent countless hours along with her husband Rodney volunteering, fundraising and making sure things were running smoothly at the games and tournaments. She loved doing this for her children but also for all children involved in the league.

Kim loved spending time with her family. She was loving, caring, helped friends and family alike when they were in need. She had an amazing smile, incredibly deep faith and a laugh that made you smile when you were around her.

She loved playing Bunco and painting with her friends, camping with her family. Parties at their home were memorable. Her family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

Kim will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Rodney Pyle and the two joys of her life Rion and Ashleigh. She felt very blessed to have her granddaughter Brynlee come into her life. Kim leaves behind her sister Lori Hollis, nephew Aidan Hollis of Menifee and brother James R. Hollis III, sister-in-law Renee Hollis, niece Nicole Hollis, nephew Justin Hollis of South Windsor CT. Lori and Jim have not only lost a sister but a best friend as well.

Her in laws, Donald and Joanne Pyle. Debbie and Scott Engels, nephews Gregory and Jeff. Jenny Oberkramer, nephews Damien, Dillon and Donavan. Steve and Zahra Pyle, along with niece Jessica.

Kim also leaves behind her aunts and uncles Pam and Scott Bres, Bill and Kim Kelly, Elaine Neckerman, Debbie Hollis, Donna and Jim Johnson, Marsha Crowley and Jennifer Crowley Seamon and families. Her extended family in CT the Benson Family, Thompson family, Bissette family, MacLachlan family, along with many other cherished friends and family.

Kim was preceded in death by her father James Reid Hollis Jr., her mother Sharon Kelly Hollis, Grand Parents Elizabeth Kelly, Francis Kelly, James Hollis Sr, and Grandmother Genevieve Rizzie Hollis Crowley.

Our lives are forever changed.
