Obituary

Orville R."Jip" Maas was a loving husband to his wife of 71 years, Marianne
Maas. Orville is survived by his wife and grandchildren, John V. Lutes and
Yesenia Lopez-Lutes, as well as his younger brother Cliff Maas.

Orville was a Navy veteran of WWII & Korea and was stationed overseas on both
occasions. He owned his own excavation company for many years and drove his
own 18 wheel truck during his semi-retirement. He was also an avid tennis player,
boater, and water skier in his earlier years. He lived in South-West Riverside County
for 40 years and originally moved from Iowa at the end of WWII at age 17 to join the
Navy. Orville will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.

We love you grandpa!!!!
