Obituary for Pauline Francis Hudson

Angels are not any Extraordinary beings with Wings and a Halo. They are ordinary people living ordinary lives. But they have Special Qualities that touch our Heart and Soul in Special Ways. They are Truly our Best Friends. —Aarti Khurana

Pauline Francis Hudson, 64, lost her battle, unexpectedly, to Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) and entered her eternal life on Wednesday, December 24, 2019 at a hospital surrounded by her family in Murrieta, California.

Pauline was born September 8,1955 in Los Angeles, California to Terry and Claudia Walker. Claudia, later, remarried to Don Parrette and they raised three girls into adulthood.

Pauline graduated from Bolsa Grande High School, Class of 1973, and worked as a contractor for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in California, dedicating 30 years of her life. On September 10, 1983, she married her love, Mark Hudson, at her mother’s countryside home in Moreno Valley. Happily married for 36 years, Mark and Pauline, raised three wonderful children; Jason, Charmagne, and Dennis.

Pauline was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandma. Pauline participated in all their school activities and sporting events. Even up until her passing she would proudly bake and paint with her grandchildren and gloat about their accomplishments. In Pauline’s spare time she could be found making memories with Mark and Dennis attending Sprint car races or “cutting a rug” at her daughter, Charmagne, work dances; oh, how she loved to dance. If Pauline was not spending time with her immediate family, she was giving her heart and soul to her sisters and brother, whom are near and far, and other family members as well. She was an active participant in planning her son, Dennis, and Krystle's wedding in May 2020 and always looked forward to family gatherings. Pauline absolutely cherished her family. She was highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks and enjoyed using arts and crafts to create presents for all her loved ones. She had a vivacious personality, full of compassion, and made friends everywhere she went.

Pauline is the loving mother of Jason, Charmagne, and Dennis; survived by her husband, Mark; proud grandmother of Aubrey (11), Hayden (9), and Evan (6); devoted sister to Debbie, Terri, Pam, and Terry (little T); generous aunt and cousin; and a lifelong friend to many.

Pauline will be fondly remembered by family and friends as someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important—the simplicity of living a life with those you love. She deeply touched our hearts with compassion, filled our souls with laughter; and left us blessed with an angel. Pauline is loved and will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2pm. Location is Canyon Lake Community Lodge in the Holiday Bay Room. Address is: 22200 Canyon Club Dr, Canyon Lake, Ca 92587
