William Joesph Harrison was born June 06, 1956 in Providence,Rhode Island and went to
heaven April 16,2020 at 9:19 P.M. he was hospitalized at Loma Linda University in
William Harrison, aka Bill was a loving father to son, grand-pop, fiancé, brother, uncle, nephew,
cousin and a friend to many. Bill was helpful in as many ways as he could. Bill would give you
his shirt off his back to help you. Bill loved riding his motorcycle and working out in his yard,
along side his fiancé. Bill had a carefree happy-go-lucky demnior. In March 2020, after two
unsuccessful ER visits with a diagnoses of pneumonia, Bill was progressively getting worse.
His third visit resulted in hospitalization. Due to Covid-19, the hospital started their lock down
that day. Over the next 3.5 weeks Bill was alone with no visitors. He was then diagnosed on
April 3 with Metastatic Lung Cancer. Although he was in constant extreme pain, Bill still
maintained his witty sense of humor, positive outlook, and his devotion to the Lord. Bill had
surgery to help ease the pain in his back. After surgery Bill experienced a Heart Attack, and
spent his last days alone in the ICU. Bill sadly lost his life to Cancer on April 16, 2020. Bill’s
family as well as I, his fiancé are in shock, mourning, and in quarantine. This is completely
unexpected, Bill had faith after surgery he was going to recover and be back at home. Bill will
always be remembered and will be always missed, he’s resting now in heaven pain free and at
peace. We love you Bill, you will always be with us.

I have so many memories of my brother Bill. Some of my fondest are growing up in Bellflower. It seems like all we ever did was play in the backyard. Cowboys and Indians was one of our favorite games, and of course I was always the one tied to the tree. I was a big Elvis fan and so was Bill. We would blast Elvis music and Bill would sing and I would jump around pretending I could dance. Our dad took us to the beach every day of the summers. We would splash around in the ocean waves all day, but when we were ready to come out , Bill would have nothing to do with it! In high school we spent a few crazy nights doing what highschoolers do! Some memories are better kept secret... and on my wedding day, Bill stayed true to his wild and crazy antics when he threw me over his shoulder and twirled me all over the dance floor. It was a bit scary, but I knew he was happy for me on my special day. As we grew older we drifted as siblings sometimes do. But, in recent months we spent a lot of time talking as we shared the loss of our mom. When Bill became sick and went into the hospital this past March we spoke often on the phone. He had plans of coming home to Susanna and starting his cancer treatments. We talked about how I would come and see him and take him to his doctor appointments to help out. We thought he was coming home. However, the man upstairs, as our dad would often say, had other plans. Bill is home, but in his heavenly home. I believe he is at peace and out of pain and worry . Likely living it up and stirring the pot! Until I see you again, I will miss you so much, but I will treasure our memories. Love you brother Bill !❤️
